In August 2024 the Commissioners received planning approval  “in principle” for building a replacement café, replacement toilets and new community hub at Marine Parade in Peel to enhance the facilities and buildings which exist at the far end of Peel Promenade.

A Commissioners’ public consultation on the plans they are currently developing for this facility will take place between Wednesday 5 February and Saturday 8 February 2025 at the Town Hall in Peel. Display boards showing how this facility could be developed and how the building could look will be available for the public to view. Public input and feedback are being sought on this proposed community facility prior to submitting a reserved matter application. Comments by 18 February please.

Commissioners’ staff will be available to answer any questions between 9am and 4pm between 5 and 8 February 2025.
